peterek is located in Viersen, a town near Düsseldorf. The company maintains excellent contacts with reputable Chinese enterprises as well as institutions. It cooperates closely with Chinese and European partners being located in China.

The managing director Mrs. Irmgard Maria Peterek has a strong international focus. She is a certified translator (Master Degree, University) and holds additionally a Master of Science in Management and Economics. Her mother tongue is German, her foreign languages are English, Spanish and Mandarin. Her knowledge of China is not just based on short business trips. She has been living in the country for a longer time, studying the language and gathering working experience. Among others she was a participant in the reputable programme „Manager’s Exchange and Training Programme“ (see www.metp.net.cn) which was initiated by the EU Commission and the Chinese Ministry of Trade (MoFCOM). The network which results from this programme, consisting of high ranking Chinese managers and representatives of Chinese institutions as well as European experts of various fields who are engaged in Chinese business, proves to be a great support.
